Smartmove was born in 2004, created by Husband and wife team, Andy and Michelle Webb. Andy had previously owned his own High Street agency which grew to 6 branches, having been in the industry since 1988. Having seen estate agency and all its flaws from the inside, it was due to a strong disillusion with the business in general that gave Andy and Michelle a burning desire to change it for the better, and bring value for money to the consumer.
Smartmove began with a simple idea, a small office, and just three staff. Yet in only 18 months it had grown to a personnel of 20, doubled its operating area, and expanded into a prestigious new office building.
Due to overwhelming success in Hampshire and Dorset, Smartmove is now expanding across the UK through a licensing structure, bringing value for money to consumers everywhere.
